New fluid dynamics test bench

In the line of investments in technology of the Sensotec Group, a new bank of fluid dynamics has been put into operation at the Cornellà plant.

With capacity to move large volumes of water (up to 800 m3 / h), this system allows the testing and verification of flow measurement equipment and chemical parameters of water at speeds of 0.01 m/s to 4.9 m/s .

The system stands out for having specific elements for the calibration of non-intrusive flow meters and flow switches.

Likewise, the fluid dynamics laboratory incorporates a new tool for calculating the speed of sound in specific fluids and determining the viability of a new fluid as measured by transit time or Doppler.
